Section Membership

LACBA sections offer members an opportunity to actively participate in their practice area.
Membership in one or more of the sections entitles you to be appointed to section sub-committees, to receive
section meeting notices and publications, and to participate in various CLE programs, social activities, and listserve forums.

1For attorneys employed in appellate practice, or who hold a State Bar of California specialty certification in Appellate Law.
2Open to members who are younger than 36 years of age or have been admitted to practice for 5 years or less.
3Only in house counsel may join the Corporate Law Departments section.
4Only licensed attorneys may join the Immigration Law Section.
5Open to members who are over the age of 55 or been in practice 25 years or more.
