Development Around L.A. Fault Zones

The program panel will discuss the history and concerns of developing around fault zones in the Los Angeles area. Mike Reader, a geotechnical engineer and expert witness, will provide an overview of seismic activity along the fault zones and the science of “earthquake engineering.” Jerry Neuman and Kevin McDonnell will discuss their general experiences as attorneys representing parties in development disputes around fault zones.

The panel will also discuss retrofitting and disclosure matters of importance to real property lawyers and litigators.
