U.S. Senator Edward Kennedy and U.S. Congresswoman Hilda Solis for Immigrant Represenative of Excellence Awards;
Attorney Mary Mucha, Director of the Immigration Legal Assistance Project of the Los Angeles County Bar Association for Lifetime Achievement Award;
James DeBates, Executive Assistant to the District Director, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services for Bridging the Gap Award;
The Law Firm of O’Melveny & Myers, LLP for Pro Bono Service Award.
Congressman Howard Berman, a past recipient of the Immigrant Representative of Excellence Award, will present this year’s award in the same category.
Invited guests include Consuls General from around the globe with offices in Los Angeles. Last year, representatives from 35 countries were in attendance. Also in attendance will be immigration lawyers and others with an interest in diversity issues.
